Job description | Assist the Partnerships team in all aspects of day-to-day business in the lead up to the annual TED Conference in Vancouver including: event planning tasks; updating and keeping the team’s internal database organized and up to date; using the database to register our partners for the conference; helping with the research, logistics, and planning of multiple partnership activations for the 2019 TED conference; managing guest lists for multiple concurrent private events; managing the partner events email inbox and ensuring timely responses; supporting the team in creating sales materials, conducting industry research, updating/maintaining internal resource documents and other projects as assigned.
Compensation package | To be determined during the interview. The contract will have a 3 months duration, from February to April 2019.

Candidate qualifications | Strong writing and communication skills; detail-oriented, perceptive and able to meet deadlines; ability to prioritize multiple tasks; fluency working with Google applications: Docs, Gmail, Maps, Calendar; thrives in a fast-paced environment; works well in a high achieving group; not afraid to ask questions of fellow team members; an eye for continuously analyzing and optimizing processes to improve the team’s efficiency and effectiveness; self-starting, self-motivated and ability to think on one’s feet, fluent in written and spoken english.
