Job description | Create Instagram clever, cutting-edge fashion #content (and maybe the occasional dank meme) for an audience of over 675k: own and manage all Instagram publishing on Dazed Fashion; develop Instagram specific strategies to maximise audience growth and engagement against KPIs set from Head of Digital; deliver on daily, weekly and monthly targets with a key understanding of social metrics; forward plan to ensure daily delivery against the cultural calendar, editorial campaigns and international fashion weeks; work closely with Head of Fashion to develop social-first formats; on-location Instagram reporting for fashion events and fashion weeks; remain informed of any technological developments on Instagram and consider within the framework of new ways to communicate stories on the platform; report on your platform’s performance, competitor performance and upcoming strategies at weekly team meetings to Head of Social and Head of Fashion; create basic social assets and liaise with the Junior Digital Media Designer on other required assets; monitor and respond to analytics in real time, feeding back information to the relevant editor; track competitors and be aware of market changes; develop and maintain brand relationships alongside Head of Fashion; understand the fast-paced nature of social media and be prepared to adapt to this, i.e. be prepared to work out of hours and schedule posts over the weekend during peak times e.g Fashion Week.

Candidate qualifications | Deeply, unashamedly addicted to Instagram; obsessed with fashion; great taste; a visual eye; a strong knowledge of current fashion trends, designers, and personalities; an abundance of creative ideas; a genuine passion for the powers of Instagram; the ability to write a decent and spellchecked caption; excellent people skills; a lot of initiative; work in a previous social media role and knowing your way around Photoshop and Premiere Pro are a plus.
