Job description | BioBus works with 40 Junior Scientists – high school and college interns – each year, in the summer and throughout the school year: you will play a critical role in creating a long-term social and professional ecosystem for BioBus Junior Scientists. By creating activities and points of connection that supplement the primary activity of our company (science research, teaching, and mentorship), the work of this role will increase the chance students will find success in scientific pursuits. Reporting to BioBus’s Chief Scientific Officer, your work will directly transform the lives of hundreds of students by unlocking their full science potential. Examples of activities and points of connection that this position will be responsible for developing and executing are: peer career panels; science panels, visit to labs, and internship recruitment activities.

Compensation package | In the range USD 50.000 – 61.000 per year. Compensation includes a 10% bonus based on organization’s performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, transit, FSA, and progressive PTO, remote working, and family leave policies.

Candidate qualifications | 4-year degree required; 1-3 year of experience in youth or workforce development working with high school and/or college age students; strong and polished interpersonal, english written and oral communication skills; tech savvy, proficient in basic office technology such as word processing, email, and data entry; ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams; spanish language skills a plus.
